PROJECT COORDINATOR
Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Italian Civil Protection Department (DPC – Italy)
As project Coordinator, the Italian Civil Protection Department is in charge of the overall project management including the relations with the European Commission. DPC coordinates the Italian contributions to the project and the communications among partners and, in general, it leads all the actions implemented by PROCULTHER. Moreover, through its Cultural Heritage Working Group, the DPC will contribute to project actions by providing technical, organisational, strategic and practical contributions. PARTNERS’ CIVIL PROTECTION/CULTURAL HERITAGE AUTHORITIES
The Ministère de l’Intérieur – Direction Générale de la Sécurité Civile et de la Gestion des Crises (France), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Regional Government of Castilla y Leon (Spain) and the Ministry of Interior – Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (Turkey) provide PROCULTHER with the expertise of a Focal Point, responsible of the setting up and leading of the national working groups, and of Cultural Heritage and Civil Protection Experts, in charge of providing technical contributions to the project activities.
PARTNERS’ TECHNICAL EXPERTS
ICCROM is the partner in charge of providing technical advice to the development of the European common methodology for the protection of cultural heritage in emergency and the capacity development toolkit, including inputs for their implementation in partner and interested pilot countries. VILLA MONTESCA is the administrative partner, in charge of the overall financial management of the project and of the communication and visibility actions foreseen.
